Styling reference

The complete list of styling options, with every choice spelled out. This is the lookup page. For how and when to use them, see Customizing widgets; for what each widget shows, see the widget catalog.

Not every widget carries every control. A widget with no text of its own has no font setting, and the Fill Tracker centres itself so it has no alignment. The catalog lists what each one has.

Fonts

Fifteen fonts, the same set on every plan:

FontReads as
InterClean, neutral, highly legible at small sizes
PoppinsFriendly geometric sans
OswaldCondensed, fits more words in a narrow box
AntonHeavy condensed, loud headlines
TekoTall and condensed, scoreboard feel
Black Ops OneStencil, military
RyeWestern slab serif
OrbitronSquared, futuristic
DotoDot-matrix
Space MonoMonospaced, technical
Press Start 2P8-bit pixel type
VT323Terminal monospace
Permanent MarkerHand-drawn marker
CaveatHandwriting
Great VibesFormal script

The display fonts (Press Start 2P, Great Vibes, Doto) are hard to read in long sentences. Use them for short lines, and keep something plain for anything a viewer has to actually read.

Text

  • Text size. Auto fits the text to its box, which is the default and usually right. The presets Extra small, Small, Medium, Large, and Extra large set a fixed size instead, and never exceed what Auto would use, so text cannot overflow its box.
  • Text color. Any color. The picker offers your channel’s brand colors first, then a curated palette. Typing an exact hex is an Elite feature (the Advanced tab).
  • Text opacity. 0 to 100. Below solid, your camera shows through the letters.

Background

  • Background color fills the widget’s box.
  • Background opacity runs 0 (fully transparent) to 100 (solid). At 0 the widget is just its contents floating over your camera, which is the right look for a nameplate. Raise it when text needs a panel to sit on.

Background effects

An animated fill behind the widget’s contents. Off by default.

EffectWhat it does
NoneOff. The default.
FoilSweeping card-foil sheen

Shimmer SweepA highlight passing across
Aurora DriftSlow drifting color fields
StarfieldDrifting stars
Liquid WaveRolling waves
Barber StripesTravelling diagonal stripes

ScanlinesCRT scanlines
Floating OrbsDrifting soft orbs

Each effect has two settings:

  • Palette. Channel Brand (your own primary and secondary colors, available once you set brand colors), plus Holo, Gold, Silver, Neon, Laser, and Frost.
  • Intensity. 0 to 100, controlling how strong and how fast the effect reads. High intensity on every widget at once is a lot; one loud widget and the rest calm usually looks better.

An effect sits behind the widget’s contents and inside its corners, so it clips to whatever rounding you set.

Borders

A border is an outline on the edges you choose, drawn inside the widget so turning it on never changes the widget’s size.

  • Border sides. Pick any combination of Top, Right, Bottom, and Left. None selected means no border, which is the default. One side is how you get a clean underline.
  • Color and opacity, same picker as everywhere else.
  • Thickness. Thin, Medium, Thick, or Extra thick. Thickness scales with the widget, so a border looks the same whether the widget is small or large.

Corners

Square, Small, Medium, or Large rounding. Corners round the whole widget, so the background, the effect, and the border all clip to the same shape. It applies whether or not you have a border turned on.

Alignment

A 3x3 anchor grid sets where a widget’s contents sit inside its box: left, center, or right, and top, center, or bottom. It matters most when the contents are smaller than the box you drew.

Some widgets differ:

  • Scrolling text spans the full width, so only the vertical anchor applies.
  • Team Score always centres itself horizontally.
  • Fill Tracker fits and centres its board automatically, so it has no alignment control.

“Partial” on the Fill Tracker means it has a text size and a text color choice, and only when it is showing spot text rather than team logos. It has no font of its own.
