What is Breakcastr?
Breakcastr makes your break look like a TV broadcast instead of a webcam. It puts a live board of your spots, real game scores, your name and logo, and celebration animations on screen, and it gives you one panel to run all of it from.
It is a website. There is nothing to download from us.

Your camera and microphone go into OBS. Breakcastr goes into OBS too, as a single link. OBS sends the combined picture to wherever you sell. You control the whole thing from your phone.
What is OBS?
OBS Studio is free broadcasting software for Mac, Windows, and Linux. It is what actually sends your video to Whatnot, eBay Live, TikTok, Fanatics Live, or Loupe. Most breakers who stream from a computer already run it.
Breakcastr does not replace OBS and does not work without it. It adds one thing to it.
Never opened OBS? Set up OBS starts at the download and gets you to a working stream before Breakcastr enters the picture.
What you need
- A computer that runs OBS, and a camera and microphone.
- A selling platform you can stream to from OBS. Whatnot, eBay Live, TikTok, Fanatics Live, Loupe, and Drip all work. A platform that only lets you go live from its phone app will not. See Supported platforms.
- A vertical stream. Breakcastr is portrait only right now, so Twitch and YouTube are not supported yet.
- A phone, tablet, or second browser window to run the show from. Your OBS computer works too.
That is it. No plugins, no second computer, no capture card, no producer.

What Breakcastr does not do
It does not run your sale, take payment, or assign teams to buyers. You keep doing all of that exactly how you do it now. Breakcastr is the just visual layer on top of your stream.
What you do once, and what you do every break
Once, before your first break. Create your channel, design an overlay and save it as a break template, then add Breakcastr to OBS as a single browser source. If you have never installed OBS, Set up OBS covers it. The Breakcastr overlay setup can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. All of this and more is covered in the Quickstart.
Every break after that. Open your studio on any device signed into your account, pick your template, enter what you are ripping and how many spots there are, and hit Start break. Your overlay appears on stream. From that same screen you mark spots sold as they go and fire celebrations when a card hits, and you hit End break when the box is done. That is Going live and Running the show.
Nothing in the second list touches OBS, and nothing in it involves redesigning your overlay. The template carries your look from one break to the next, so a normal night starts and ends in your studio.
