Everything here is the first-time path: create a channel, set up OBS, and get a break on air. Work through it in order and you only do it once. After that, going live is a few clicks.

Read this first

• What is Breakcastr? explains the whole thing from zero, including what OBS is, what you need, and what one night looks like. Start here if you have never streamed a break.

Then set it up

The rest of this section is the setup itself, in order:

1. Quickstart is the whole path in one pass, signup to first live break. If you already know OBS, this is the only page you need.
2. Channel setup sets your on-stream identity once: name, logo, wordmark, brand colors, and socials. Every break you run inherits it.
3. Set up OBS installs OBS and gets your camera and mic running on a portrait canvas. Skip it only if OBS is already streaming for you.
4. Add Breakcastr to OBS is the one-time wiring: paste the overlay in as a browser source and open your studio. About two minutes.
